Description

FOUND FOUND!!
A true success story for Pets on the Net and everyone working together. Daisy went missing a month ago then just yesterday I received an email from a lovely lady who looks on Petsonthenet regularly and saw my advert and a vet in Orewa had just put up a found white Burmilla found in Hatfields Beach north of Orewa. On contacting the vet I arranged to go up this afternoon to see if she was our Daisy. The odds were looking great! Not many missing Burmillas around! I was really nervous and when the lovely staff at the Orewa Vet Clinic asked for some photographic evidence that she was my cat, I could tell things were positive. When I was taken into the back room where she was in a cage I knew immediately it was our Daisy and she knew me! She had been away from home for 4 weeks, had crossed the Harbour Bridge and headed to the sunny Hibiscus Coast - obviously she had snuck into someone's car to head on her grand adventure. Other than an abcess (which the lovely vet staff dealt with) being tired and on edge and a little scraggly, she seems OK. It's 9pm and she is asleep with my 7 year old son on his bed. We are so so happy to have her back. Thanks to all who played a part in getting her home.

Daisy has gone missing Laingholm. She is quite shy to strangers and skittish with loud noises/dogs barking. She won't necessarily come when called. Loves sleeping in warm spots in gardens during the day.
