Pets On The Net is a great service and you are to be congratulated on the wonderful work that you do.

After Sam arrived at our house in Casebrook five weeks ago and took up residence with our other two cats we have tried
desperately to find his owners as he was a well looked after and loving ginger cat. We visited all the houses in the surrounding
area but no-one had seen him or knew where he had come from. The SPCA couldn't take him, and because he was older we didn't
want to take him there in case he was put down. They did suggest we list him on Pets On The Net which we did. We also contacted
the Cats Protection League but they couldn't take him for another six weeks. We continued feeding him (and becoming more
attached to him!!) and suddenly last Friday afternoon a man rang to say he thought we had found his parent's cat, this after five
weeks. He had been looking after Sam whilst his parents were away on holiday but his cat had been fighting Sam and driven him
away from the property. Sam had wandered a kilometre around the streets to get to our house. Unfortunately the carer didn't
know about Pets On The Net until a neighbour had told him. He immediately had a look online and there was Sam looking at him.
He contacted us and came on Friday afternoon to reunite Sam with his owners. We have since spoken with the owners of Sam
who are very grateful and appreciative to get him back as they have had him for 13 years.
We are so happy that Sam has been reunited with his owners but we do miss him!
