Teddy has a home for life now :)

ARAN is Animal Rescue Action Network saving pound dogs on death row

UPDATE...... Teddy has been in foster care for 3 weeks and is growing in leaps and bounds; he would love a home where he would have another dog for company as he loves to play with the resident dogs. We think that Teddy would be more suited to a home with older children as he is still learning that his sharp little teeth can hurt, and as he matures, he will need lots of 'jobs' to do and plenty of exercise - he's a very smart cookie! Not to mention gorgeous :)

ARAN's "TEDDY BEAR" is a brave little survivor.
ARAN rescued this little guy from the Wanganui Pound on Saturday 8th February. He was about 7 weeks old, extremely thin, and had a heavy load of worms which made him a very sick puppy. Teddy was vomiting and passing live worms in copious amounts and was taken to an emergency vet the same night for parvo testing and treatment. Thankfully he did not have parvo, and was suffering instead from a severe and life threatening worm burden. But now, just 6 days later, he has put on weight, come out of his shell and is hoovering up 6 meals a day. He's a very gorgeous fluffy boy, possibly Collie x.

Please call Teddy Bear's foster mum on 021 0235 6659

ARAN's usual approval conditions and adoption contracts apply, including a strict desexing agreement, and there will be an adoption fee.
