It also hugely increases the chance of your pet being identified sooner and coming home faster if he or she is lost.
Ordering ID tags (New Zealand only please)
(this is our old ID tag order form, it does not submit properly sometimes, but it does show on all browsers, we really prefer you DO NOT use this form but instead use our NEW ORDER FORM instead. The new form is a lot "safer" as it creates a back up copy, confirms receipt of order automatically etc. A much more robust ordering process...This old order form page has only been retained for those who may have issues with seeing the new form in their browser, which has not yet been a problem for anyone but I guess the day we delete this, is the day someone will (Murphy's Law..!)

NEW Weekly batch ordering system (TUESDAYS).
From Tuesday 6 March 2007, I will process, order and acknowledge the weeks ID tag orders as both received/underway ONCE a week, on Tuesdays. This will significantly streamline my workflow and ordering process. Please ensure payment is arranged before Tuesday am, to avoid your order going into the following Tuesdays batch. Why only once a week?

1) Orders
Please copy and paste the order form (below), or write full details as requested (below) into an email to tags@petsonthenet.co.nz.

2) Payment is by transfer of funds to petsonthenet 
Please pay via transfer of funds to petsonthenet. The bank account number to transfer payment/your optional donation to is...

Pets on the Net ASB Bank 12 3016 0540961 000. 

Please put your surname or your pets name on the ID tag as the "reference" so we can easily match your payment to your email order

We don't have credit card facilities and no longer accept cheque payments by post. 

3) Advise us
Please advise in your order email if and when you have transferred funds to us.

4) Delivery
All orders will be acknowledged by email as both received/paid for and underway only one day per week, that will be every week on the TUESDAY following your order.

The engraved tag/s will be posted to you within seven days of that Tuesday
 


Identity Tags Order Form
Your engraved tag will feature your pet's name and one contact phone number. To add an extra phone number or an extra line ie) I'm deaf etc, please add $7 to your order. Only one extra (short!) line may be added due to space limitations. The engraved tag/s will be posted to you within seven days of the Tuesday we receive your paid order.

Why, only Tuesdays..?!
Pets on the Net is NZ's nationwide database for lost and found pets + pets for adoption. It's a free community service, run by me as a fulltime volunteer for 5 years as of the end of March 2007...It's a very time consuming job with huge administration generated by 40000 site visitors per month, easily 500 emails per day plus all the work I do to bring in the revenue in order to keep the service free to all those people. This includes sales of tags, sales of paid advertising (classifieds and banners) and sales of Ellenco pet medical insurance.

ID tags have faithfully generated part of the revenue we need each month for many years, however the administration involved in these multiple small sales was becoming increasingly unwieldy, demanding erratic and wildly varying bursts of time to be spent on orders each day. If I got sick, or dared take a day or so off very occasionally, ID tag ordering (and everything else) was simply not dealt with in my absence. Processing/acknowledging orders just once a week will free me to work on the other tasks I need to do to run petsonthenet and help resolve those problems (with ID tags at least) by working more effectively. It will vastly help simplify my complicated and busy life and improve the workflow for both me and our engraver. I know it will mean we offer a better, faster and more efficient service to you too.
