Volunteers provide us with much needed help, from the smallest of things to more regular commitments. See if any of these appeal to you, many hands (and paws!) make light work!

Regular newspaper readers volunteers needed to check their local papers Lost
and Found Pets section. It takes just a few minutes a week to ring any new advertisers
and just check that they know about petsonthenet.co.nz. After all our service (ads, photos and advice) are free! Their pet
could be on our database just waiting for them to
log in, or our advice might lead to them finding their pet...Please email if you might be
able to help us spread the word like this and help us reunite even MORE pets! Please
also let us know what local paper/s you get including the little free community papers
and I'll check if we need help in that area

South Islanders - Wherefore art thou?!
We need volunteers for just about every South Island paper, no matter how small or big. We have about 80 volunteers over NZ but the South Island seems to be missing out on
petsonthenet.co.nz by comparison to the North Island. Can you help?! Please email me.

Offer to place a free A4 promotional poster on your local community notice board,
workplace notice board etc. Email us and we'll post you the number you require.

Put links to us on your website and or/intranet. We have banners, buttons or text links available for this. Contact Kim for a selection of these depending on your size
requirements.

We need volunteers to help with photographing the "found" pets at animal shelters such as the SPCA etc (using a digital camera). Email us if you can volunteer an hour or so a week to help at your local shelter. It would hugely help in the identification of these pets. Some SPCA's don't have the resources to even get the text ads on
petsonthenet.co.nz, so we also need volunteers to help input the free ads for their
local SPCAs and animal welfare shelters
please. Please email me where you are
and which animal welfare shelter you might be able to help.

Any other help you can give, such as your skills - design, marketing, journalism etc. Any free publicity, donations, free/cheap advertising space, trade show space etc, please contact us. We welcome any support!

Thank you so much for any help you can give this free nationwide e-service and to help us continue to grow, reunite and rehome even more pets!
