Choose to add optional extra cover to enhance your Classic, Ultra or Premier Plan
(does not apply to surgery plans) from our "Add Extra Cover"
table of options below.
This means you may personalise your pet's plan by adding extra cover to
suit your needs. Each "unit" represents a value of $100 (there is no excess).
You choose what extra level of cover that you want and when you want it
(please note stand-down times*)
Example:
Say you're a natural sort of
person and you prefer to use a homeopath or acupuncturist for treatment
whenever possible. You feel you'd like extra cover for this, over and
above that already offered on Classic, Ultra or Premier plans....
You estimate you would like another $500 per year of cover (no excess). So
you need 5x units of Complementary Medicine (as each unit = $100 worth of
cover)
So...5 x units of Complementary Medicine (cat) @ $13.00 per unit/per
annum = $65.00 per annum.
OR
5x units of Complementary Medicine (cat) @ 1.19 per unit/per month = $5.95
per month.
Your Complementary Medicine benefit cover is now $500.00
You'll note that the premiums for varying "units" differ
depending on the "unit", premiums are listed below.

Summary of Policy Terms and Conditions
The maximum age of entry for
any of the above options is seven years for cats and five
years for dogs. No cover is accepted for inherited/congenital
conditions, neutering, vaccinations, worming or general health
checks. There is no excess or other charges. Each option may
have certain conditions attached and these are explained in th
Pet Plan Table - Options. These options must be added to a base plan (Classic,
Ultra or Premier only and may not be taken indvidually
(without a base plan).
