We need A4 printer paper and computer
hardware (we currently have one desktop but a laptop would be so
very useful
as well so more people could work on the computer at
once and at different places...).
If you have a relevant skill or
service to offer, we'd love your help. Please
contact
us if you have an idea to help. From time to time we
require volunteers. Please see our
Volunteers Wanted section to see if we need more
volunteers right now, or on our
facebook.
We would like to thank our
current sponsors for their valued support.

Consider that it costs about $20.00 to advertise for one day
in a local newspaper for a lost pet...you get a few lines and no
photo at that price and it is 'fish and chips" the next
day.
On the other hand petsonthenet.co.nz delivers your 500 word ad
and up to six colour photos nationwide for as long as you want,
for FREE. We also offer personal service, support, advice,
checklists, free online searching, SPCA found pet listings
etc....No 0900 numbers here..!
We are committed
to this service remaining free. However where people can support
us there are now options to add paid "extras" to our basic ads.
Even our "basic" ads provide a lot including 500 word ads, up to
six photos published nationwide for as long as you want, for
FREE, video and facebook links etc. We also offer personal
service, support, advice, strategy checklists to help find lost
pets, free online searching. Importantly we also publish SPCA
found pet listings daily for most major SPCAs.
Prior to petsonthenets launch in 2002 there was little in the
way of help for lost pets. there was an 0900 service that
charged $4 a minute for information you could get for free from
the SPCA, but no where to post an ad, except for the newspaper
or some radio stations broadcast lost pet reports once or twice
a week. But it was not enough.
You can check this free
information online anytime for lost and found pets AND post free
ads. Pets on the Net is open 24/7 for EVERYONE to share
information in one easy place - the public, SPCA's, pounds,
shelters, vets etc.
If you have
appreciated our service and
if you are able to please donate.
Thanks and purrs for your support in any way.
From the Petsonthenet volunteer team.
