A small discount applies
only when two or more same species pets are insured on the same plan
i.e.) 2 or more cats on the same plan, OR two or more dogs on the same plan. The discount does not apply to select breeds or crossbreeds that include one
or more of the nominated select
breeds. Discounts do not apply to any cat COMMENCING
over the age of seven, or any dog COMMENCING over the age of five.
The two or more pets must be below these ages to qualify for
the saving. The discount rates are published at the bottom of the
relevant plans page.
* Neutering cover (Premier and Ultra plans only)
You don't need to wait thirteen months to neuter/desex your pet. Once
cover has started, have them neutered/desexed and hold your receipts.
After 13 months continuous cover on this plan for your Pet with Ellenco
on Premier or Ultra plans,
you may then make your claim as per the benefit provided on this
plan.
Cover
commences immediately for accidents and after 14 days for
illnesses, subject to acceptance
of your application.

Breeds
Just as some dogs cost more to feed, veterinary care costs more
too. if you are covering one of these breeds, your premium will be
the "Select Breed" rate as above. Select breeds are
Boxer, Bulldog, Bloodhound, Bouvier des Flanders, Deerhound, Giant
Schnauzer, Great Dane, Irish Wolfhound, Leonberger,
Mastiff (Bullmastiff, Neopolitan and Tibetan), Mountain (Bernese,
Estrela and Pyrenean), Newfoundland, Old English Sheepdog,
Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rottweiler, St Bernard and Shar-Pei

of Policy Terms and Conditions
Over 5 years of age at commencement for dogs, or seven years for
cats: A standard excess of 15% applies to all claims subject to a
minimum of $20.00. If commencing over these ages, a higher premium
will apply.

Exclusions: inherited conditions, pre existing conditions, breeding activities, routine eye
inspections, puppy or kitten vaccinations, routine health care.
