This is Basil, she is a
"Basil" - 15yr old Sulphur Crested Cockatoo. Basil has been in my partners family since 6 months out of the egg so knows the family.  Sadly because of the sillyness of some children... she no longer likes them.  With adults she knows she is very friendly, loves to cuddle and likes to groom us (sometimes a scary thing cosidering the size of her beak next to your eye brows).  She is clipped so she can go outside. She's about the size of a normal grown cat and of course will live to a very long age.  She eats almost anything but her main diet consists of Sunflower seads.  Her favourite treat is a whole dried sunflower.  Her favourite toy is an old ripped sheet to play in.
