Checklist for ads on this site
Here are some tips to make your ad more effective...

Title
Use a brief headline including your suburb ie Takapuna; Tabby & white longhaired cat. Please don't use a title like "Oscar is lost" or "Missing" as that is all that will show as people scroll through and with thousands of ads posted each month, we need to make it easy as possible for your ad to be found. If your pet was wearing an ID tag with their name on it, then do include the name in your header. ie) Epuni: Oscar the black cat

Phone numbers
We advise you provide all your phone numbers (home, work and mobile) in your ad. IF you get your email wrong and you have no phone number, no one can reply! We recommend you provide landline numbers as well as cell phones as not everyone can call or text cell phones. Make it as easy as possible for people to contact you.

You only need to enter the boxes marked with a *. Leave out any information you do not want to have displayed publicly. (Your email address is NOT displayed).

Text
There is plenty of free space for much more detailed information in our Lost and Found Pet ads than you would be able to afford in a newspaper. So include the same information about your pet as per the newspaper ad checklist but with as much detail as possible. You get up to 5000 characters.

Photo
We very strongly recommend you upload a photo to increase your chances of success. You can add up to six.

Attention Getter
We highly recommend adding an Attention Getter to your free ad for only $5 to help your ad stand out amongst the thousands of ads posted each month. Plus it also helps support this free service, so it's a win/win.

Links
Please note we do not allow links to other classifieds/auction sites. A link to your own personal webpage with more info is fine.

Click here to post your ad and photo/s now.
